What’s on tonight? Just Facebook…

Imagine that you are with your friends are out for a Sunday lunch, but instead of engaging in conversation and enjoying the beautiful weather you are caught up with “Checking In” on Facebook and uploading your favorite picture to Instagram so all your followers can see. When you upload that photo, instead of looking up and enjoying time with friends you then proceed to check your Facebook news feed and reply to your text messages. The question is then, does this make you anti-social and is the media to blame? 

Young people of today’s modern era are becoming more and more “tech savvy” and up to date with the latest trends. This is reflected with over 78% of teens owning mobile phones, and over half of these own tablets.
